New project on cyber-physical systems

CNet is participating in the MONA LISA project which aims to improve cyber-physical systems (CPS) by integrating hardware-software co-design across the system lifecycle, connecting and improving existing monitoring tools with visual analytics.

The integrated system analysis, connecting hardware, software and information from models in a more seamless flow, will help to improve system safety, diagnostics and validation across different CPS environments.

The project works with several use cases, with CNet contributing to the ”infrastructure, logistics and mobility” use case with Smart Bridge Monitoring. The goal is to enable more efficient development, deployment and operation of smart bridge monitoring solutions, extending the usable lifespan of bridges and supporting safety-critical maintenance decisions. Other use cases cover High-Tech Equipment Operations.

The MONA LISA project is funded by ITEA, the Eureka Cluster on software innovation, and Vinnova, Sweden’s Innovation Agency. It runs from October 2024 through September 2027.
