IoTBridge gets contract to monitor Västerbron in Stockholm

The Västerbron in central Stockholm is a steel arch road bridge and is one of the major bridges of Stockholm, opened in 1935. It is also famous for being the toughest passage of the Stockholm Marathon. A wireless sensor system was installed during this summer on the structure. The system consists of 5 strain gauges, 1 inclinometer, 2 three directional accelerometers and 1 temperature sensor. The structure will be monitored with the IoTBridge Bridge Monitoring System. This includes sensor integration modules, wireless gateways, communication modules, MQTT Message Broker, GOST database for aggregation and storage of measurements and cloud infrastructure with algorithms and machine learning modules. IoTBridge and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm have developed a machine learning method to improve the accuracy in damage detection using acceleration data.

IoTBridge is focused on developing and marketing products and services for Bridge Health Monitoring using IoT and AI technologies. IoTBridge Sweden is a subsidiary of CNet. Read more at www.iotbridge.se.

CNet presents Blockchain for supply chain management at IoT & Data Science 2018 in Vienna

Peter Rosengren presented our blockchain based solution for supply chain management and collaborative manufacturing at the IoT & Data Science 2018 conference in Vienna. The conference addressed the optimisation of automated business with data. As IoT and Big Data are currently connecting to the “Industrial Internet”, which uses sensors, applications and technologies to collect and analyse data from all possible sources, analysis results can be used to improve business processes, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue streams. In cooperation with our partners Atos and In-Jet we organised a workshop focused on the theme: “In the Wake of IoT – Digitalization of Everything from Supply Chain Management to Outdoor Rock Concerts”.

CNet one of the finalists in Hiab – Cargohack challenge “Time for elevation”

CNet has been selected as one of the  eight finalists in the challenge “Time for elevation” from Hiab – Cargohack.

To tackle the challange in logistics to have 100% of the deliveries on time and in perfect condition and to meet future demands, Hiab is committed to keep on developing new solutions that unlock the full potential of load handling and created the Contest “Time for elevation” for external teams to co-develop new concept demos and solution prototypes.

CNet successfully entered the challenge and will participate in the finals, an On-site hackathon on 5th to 7th September 2017 at the Hiab R&D laboratory.

CNet installs Smart Farming Solution in Finland

This week we are going  to the Finnish farm Maaninka to install a smart farming solution. The farm is located close to Kuopio in the northern Finland. As part of the  CLAFIS project we have used LinkSmart .net to IoT-enable different farming equipment such as feed mixer weight scales. Through the MODBUS and OPC protocols we are able to control the equipment from the high level interface provide by LinkSmart. This makes it possible for developers of HMI  (Human Machine Interfaces)  inside tractors and other farming machines to provide solutions that can optimizing the feeding of animals, harvesting and sowing.
