Ageing Independently System

The “Integrated Network for Completely Assisted Senior citizen’s Autonomy (inCASA)” project deals with citizen-centric technologies and public/private services network, to help and protect independent elderly people, prolonging the time they can live well in their own home by increasing their autonomy and self-confidence.

For this reason inCASA will reuse pre-existing solutions/services for human/environment monitoring, integrated in order to collect and analyse data to profile user habits and implement customised intelligent multilevel alerts/communication services.

In accordance with the European Commission's Communication on 'Telemedicine for the benefit of patients, healthcare systems and society' (2008), the aim of the inCASA project is to provide an incentive to all actors involved, and to facilitate patient access to safe and high quality healthcare via the use of telemedicine services.

In the inCASA project, CNet will provide knowledge and expertise regarding the Hydra middleware and how to configure and deploy it. We will be involved in the architecture design, solution implementation and the integration of the different subsystem in the inCASA platform. Cnet will also provide expertise regarding a number of home automation devices for control of the home comfort such as lighting and heating.
